Thanks to everyone who gave feedback, I was able to make a bunch of fixes to the demo so that it runs better... and doesn't give people the impression that it's broken.

Most notably the quality is automatically set when you run the game. If you do want to chose a better quality and resolution you can press "1" on your keyboard and it will bring up the settings menu.

People were choosing the highest quality even though their computers couldn't support that, so the game behaved broken.
This version of the demo is the one that I am submitting to Steam.
The Steam page is still undergoing the review process, but I will post about it here as soon as it's ready.

There's also a beautiful trailer now! I love how well all this came together.
The hardest part is done now... which would be having a demo and website and trailer... to show for all my hard work. Now I can go back to building the actual game again.

Coming next will be the open world part. The open world area will feature beautiful scenery, secrets, and poetry realms to explore.
As you can imagine, I will be releasing this in parts. The open world part is next. After that I will be publishing the actual story of the game (the quest).
