Grief brought you here.
Now you are trapped in an endless cycle, on a world that is lost to you.

I've been working hard on a new update to BlueSuburbia. I just finished the newest world, but it isn't part of BlueSuburbia yet. I decided to release it as a separate standalone thing because it's beautifully sad. It's a short horror story and poem about life, death, and moving on. It takes place in a giant open world desert. A very surrealist space  full of metaphor.
I put to work all my technical know-how for this one.
Sounds are procedural audio, with lots of procedural textures, and custom post processing effects. Everything in it I built on my own. So much work modeling everything... I'm very proud of how it turned out! It's literally everything I would have wanted in a 3D artgame.

You collect pieces of story and poem as you learn about the world. At the end it saves a poem to your drive as a text file... I don't know. It just really turned out because there's something so melancholy about getting that poem at the end.

I will be working overtime now to add this as an update to BlueSuburbia. The idea is that you learn how to fly by visiting this world so you'll be able to fly places in the rest of BlueSuburbia too, not just walk. As you can imagine there's going to be a bunch of work in making sure the older spaces accommodate flying properly, so that's the bulk of the work that still needs to be done before I get this out as a BlueSuburbia update.
