How are you even getting the website to do this?? this is awesome.
You perfectly captured the mystique and majesty of the first days of the internet and how creative it all was. I'm hoping this will inspire more people to get out there and create their own spaces in the midst of all the corporate greed and desolation.
ello can i please have incorrect dinosaurs source code? i like the dos window and message box
spiiny comments
woooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Damn the comments are spinning. Epuc game btw :D
I had the potato floating on my screen for almost the whole game. Really opened my eyes as someone who has no idea what I'm missing out on. As someone who never knew to see tech from this perspective. As someone who has had software sold to me as the rich big wigs selling the right to create to us mere mortals. Creativity is something that belongs to us all to express ourselves. Just because the means of creation seem to be Commoditized does not mean we don't still have the resources to share and express our ideas and interests the same way others once did. Thank you for this piece of art. Okay it's really hard to write this while its spinning so I'll end it here.
WEEEEEEEEEEE
i guess leaving a comment is somewhat futile given the dizzying circumstances but this was good thanks for making it

SPINNY SPINNY!!!
This rotating comment box is neat and all, but I really wish I could read the comments to see if anyone else is have the technical problem I'm having so I can try to fix it and actually be able to play the game.
What problem r u having?
I couldn't get the linux native version game to run, and the windows version ran at 2 fps in the WINE bottle I normally use for itch games. I did eventually get it to run at normal fps under proton experimental.
Glad you got it figured out :)
I am proud of myself for writing a comment. Also slightly dizzy.

this game was so touching. I’ve never seen anything like this before, and the way you worded your thoughts and research was so immediately convincin. I never thought about how quickly the internet was taken from us. “We need future generations to know that this for them too” ugh what a powerful line.
I loved this interactive manifesto. Many great questions asked in a single place, along many useful resources a link to understand the early ages of personal software and Internet. Visual effects and audios made me feel nostalgia. Thanks for this. : )
This piece really made me think about a lot of things.
From a visual standpoint, after leaving the first room, the darkness of the night, illuminated by electronic devices, was very beautiful. As I walked around, the old PC monitors and Windows UI were nice and nostalgic.
And the game content I was very impressed.
I have played several of alienmelon's works and have respected them for their strangeness and depth, but I was impressed to see these works, especially the episode where Electric Zin Maker is a beacon like a lighthouse for people with similar sensibilities from the vast world of the Internet. I'm impressed.
I feel that many individual developers around me are now talking about how to advertise and get impressions, registration and fees on google and apple, fees for cloud app services, and social networking systems where such topics are easily visible.
I thought this work would be a good opportunity to remind people now that such things have become a part of their daily lives, what development is, etc., meow~!
