I installed Adobe Air, but I still can't get the application to open; I still get an error message that I need to install Adobe Air. Help? It specifically is looking for "CreatePropertySheetPageW" in the "dynamic link library".
The amount of childlike joy and whimsy this entire page gave me.... is indescribable!!! Not only do I now want to make MORE ZINES but I also want to create something this soaked in theme and attention to detail!! So fun... thanks y'all! <3
Hey, I just picked this up with the Play for Peace bundle and was wondering if there is any plans for a Linux native version? I’ll get it to work with Proton, cuz this is just too cool to not use now, but a Linux version would be awesome.
did you get it to work on linux??? i tried wine and various types of proton and nothing worked. super disappointing because i want to use this super bad :(
I haven’t tried yet. After looking into what our options are outside of Steam these days (haven’t used Lutris since the early days of Linux gaming) and realizing not much has changed, I’m just going to add it to my Steam library as a non-Steam game. Is that what you did?
I’ll let you know if I find a Proton version and launch options that work for me.
that worked!!! i was trying to use both lutris and heroic game launcher before (since i prefer their uis) using ge proton, but just base level steam proton 9 worked perfectly. thank you again :)
Electric Zine Maker - MAC - Fix for dictation opening when you press ‘d’, emoji shortcut opening when you press ‘e’
For Emoji window problem:
Open ‘System Settings’ > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts > App Shortcuts
Press ‘+’ at the bottom.
Click on the right of ‘Menu Title’ and type in “Emoji & Symbols” exactly.
Click ‘Keyboard Shortcut’ box and type in a shortcut combination you will never use, eg, CTRL+CMND+SHIFT+*, as long as you won’t accidentally click it.
To do the same for dictation, press ‘+’ sign again at the bottom.
Type in ‘Start Dictation…’ (the three dots are mandatory!).
Click ‘Keyboard Shortcut’ box and type another impossible shortcut, eg, CTRL + COMMAND + SHIFT + /.
Press Done.
Go forth and make zines!

Hey, it started up immediately from Steam after changing Proton version from Experimental to 9.0-4.
i used external stuff, i'll try using 9! thank you!
